My story

My name is Luciano C. Trovato. Born and raised in Purmerend. Playing soccer since I was 5 years old. And eventhough I was one of the fastest players, it still wasn't going fast enough. Eager for more speed, the human body could not fulfill any more. Machines had to follow through. 270cc racemonsters to be exact, to unleash maximum speed. 

Last year, when I was 18, I signed up for the "IKK", which is the NK indoor karting. I got the chance to participate a full season in the second division, to see for myself where I was up to. With no preparations or training at all, only the motivation to go fast, the beginning of the season was dramatic. Starting at the bottom every race, because every corner in the qualification was new for me. Though I did manage to overtake a few drivers as the race proceeded, much more than the 10th place wasn't in for me.

Giving up has never been on my mindset. Therefore I had to step up my game. For the first time last season I trained excactly one heat for race number 7: Antwerpen, and directly managed to qualify as 3th. After Antwerpen came Race 8: Roosendaal, where I again haven't been training and fell back to the rock bottom. It became clear that there was a great difference between training before a race and not training before a race. After Roosendaal, Race 9: Nijverdal, where I did train one time, showed a huge difference in my finishing position, which made it clear that training before a race is necessary. 

This year, I will show you the skills I created and perform in The Individual Karting Championship 2014 in the Second Division Mid-weight.
